All household garbage should be placed in city owned containers & placed on the curb by 7am on your scheduled collection day. All containers should be removed from the curb by 7am the next day after collection. Click here to find your trash route.
2024 Renewals
You will need to complete all the forms in full that are applicable to your business.
2024 Renewals Packet:
- Application
- Employment Tax Table
- NAIC# ( http://www.census.gov/eos/www/naics/ )
- Copy of current valid photo ID, e.g…driver’s license
- E-Verify Affidavit (if information has changed from previous year)
All applicants for Occupation tax certificates/business license given by the City of LaGrange will be required by State law to submit a SAVE affidavit for the license. A copy of the applicant’s secure and verifiable photo identification will be required to be submitted. (O.C.G.A. §50-36-1&2)
An E-Verify affidavit will also be required each year for each business receiving an occupation tax certificate/business license. (O.C.G.A. § 36-60-6)
Forms will be returned if not complete and could cause you to incur late fees. Renewals are due by February 1, 2024.
Businesses who have not paid by Feb 1st will be issued a citation for operating a business without paying the Occupation tax. Please contact the office if you have any questions, +1 706 883 2060.
